OpenBSD 6.2 Installation + XFCE Desktop + Apps on Oracle VirtualBox [2017]

This video tutorial shows OpenBSD 6.2 installation with XFCE Desktop Environment on Oracle VirtualBox step by step. We'll also install applications such as Firefox, VLC, GIMP, FileZilla and LibreOffice on OpenBSD 6.2. This tutorial is also helpful to install OpenBSD 6.2 on physical computer or laptop hardware.

Steps:
1- Create Virtual Machine on Oracle VirtualBox
2- Start OpenBSD 6.2 Installation
3- Install XFCE Desktop Environment and Slim Display Manager
4- Installing Firefox, VLC, GIMP, FileZilla and LibreOffice Applications

OpenBSD 6.2 New Features and Improvements
The OpenBSD project produces a free, multi-platform BSD 4.4-based UNIX-like operating system. Its efforts emphasize portability, standardisation, correctness, proactive security and integrated cryptography. The project also develops the widely-used and popular OpenSSH (OpenBSD Secure Shell) software, which provides encrypted communication sessions over a computer network using the SSH protocol. OpenBSD is a lightweight operating system designed with code correctness and security in mind.

OpenBSD 6.2 features many new drivers, particularly for the ARM architecture, and network packet handling performance improvements. Some key features have been added to the system installer too, including checking for security updates on the first boot. The installer now uses the Allotment Routing Table (ART). A unique kernel is now created by the installer to boot from after install/upgrade. The IPv6 default router selection has been fixed. On the amd64 platform, AES-NI is used if present.
