Bridgwater Carnival, November 2019

Bridgwater Carnival is held on the Saturday closest to Bonfire Night, billed as one of the largest illuminated carnivals in the world it attracts visitors from all over. Illuminated carts up to 100 feet in length wind their way through the streets, music pumping, parts moving and dancers dancing, broken up with a wide selection of walking entries and huge tableau carts. Truly a massive event for the South West and one not to be missed!

Winners of the Feature Cart category for 2019 were Gremlins CC with Curse of the Kraken, with Masqueraders 2nd with The Silent Mary (Redemption of the Damned) and Marketeers 3rd with Bad Guys. In the Tableau class Huckyduck won it with Those Magnificent Men, 2nd went to Gemini and Butterfly Ball, with 3rd going to Wills and Smugglers Cove.

A fantastic event, and a must see!
