This week is all abuzz about the battle raging over the national budget, so as the helpful citizens we are, we're helping relieve the stress of a difficult budget with budget related commercials! Maybe if Congress switches to gas instead of electric for their water heaters, or shops somewhere else for big and tall suits...
Adverse Archive is devoted to the capitalistic metaverse that is advertising: commercials! I've collected a couple hundred taped off TV VHS tapes and am slowly going through them extracting out the commercials and building an archive of Americana advertisements and pop culture references. I've developed my own software to extract and edit the files from the VHS conversions. This channel will feature a regular stream of quaint discoveries.
