Ingredients:
1 medium-sized Lauki (Bottle Gourd)
3-4 tablespoons Pure Ghee
1 cup Milk
⅔ cup Sugar
½ teaspoon Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)
Dry Fruits
1/2 cup Khoya
Instructions:
Step 1 - First of all, peel a bottle gourd and grate it.
Step 2 - Then we will place a pan on the gas and add one spoon of ghee to it and fry the dry fruits. We will take them out on a plate
Step 3 - Now in the same pan add 2 tablespoons ghee in the pan and add grated bottle gourd in it and then cook it for 5 minutes.
Step 4 - Then add green cardamom powder and milk and cook for 5 more minutes. Then add sugar to it and mix it
Step 5 - At last add khoya and fried dry fruits, cook for 2 more minutes, serve it hot and enjoy.
स्टेप 1 - सबसे पहले एक लौकी को छीलकर कद्दूकस कर लें।
स्टेप 2 - फिर हम गैस पर एक पैन रखेंगे और उसमें एक चम्मच घी डालकर ड्राई फ्रूट्स को भून लेंगे और उन्हें एक प्लेट में निकाल लेंगे
स्टेप 3 - अब उसी पैन में 2 बड़े चम्मच घी डालें और उसमें कद्दूकस की हुई लौकी डालें और फिर इसे 5 मिनट तक पकाएं।
स्टेप 4 - फिर इसमें हरी इलायची पाउडर और दूध डालकर 5 मिनट तक पकाएँ। फिर इसमें चीनी डालकर मिलाएँ।
स्टेप 5 - अंत में खोया और तले हुए सूखे मेवे डालें, 2 मिनट तक पकाएं, गरमागरम परोसें और आनंद लें।
Tips:
Choosing Lauki: Pick a young, tender bottle gourd. It should feel heavy for its size and have a bright green skin. Avoid ones with a hard skin or seeds.
Sweetener Swap: For a deeper flavor, replace sugar with an equal amount of powdered jaggery (gur).
