🌲 SUMMER IN ALASKA: Our Off-Grid Homestead Adventure 🏔️
It's been one incredible month since our family of nine moved off-grid to this Alaskan cabin! Join us as we tackle major projects, go salmon fishing with local Alaskans, and soak up every moment of this gorgeous summer before winter arrives.

🔨 What We Built In This Episode:

Finished our bathroom with running water & custom barn door
Put in a lithium battery upgrade
Built everything using $2 lumber from the scrap pile!

🎣 Epic Fishing Adventure:
Our Alaskan friend Reeve took us to his secret salmon spot where we learned the art of "flossing" for Sockeye salmon. Father vs. son fishing competition included! Plus, learn how to properly fillet and preserve your catch.

🌸 Foraging & Family Time:
We harvested fireweed flowers to make jelly (and learned why it's Alaska's natural winter countdown timer), enjoyed campfires, and made the most of Alaska's incredible summer weather.

⏰ The Reality: Summer in Alaska is short and precious. Every project, every adventure, every moment outside counts before the long winter arrives.
