Let me show you—step by step—how to make soft, delicious homemade donuts with a super easy recipe!
No oven, no special skills needed—just simple ingredients and a little love.
Perfect for beginners who want to enjoy baking without the stress.
🍩 Ingredients for Homemade Donuts:
Flour: 4 cups
Eggs: 2
Milk or water: 200g
Milk or water for yeast: 40g
Dry yeast: 8g
Salt: ½ tsp
Dough improver: 4g
Sugar: 50–70g
Sugar for yeast: 1 tbsp
Vegetable butter or liquid oil: 70g
Orange essence: 7 drops
🥣 Yeast Preparation:
Mix 40g of milk or water with 1 tablespoon of sugar.
Let it rise.
Important tip: Use a ceramic bowl with a dark color.
🍩 Donut Dough Instructions:
Lightly beat the eggs until smooth.
Add 70g of sugar and ½ tsp of salt. Mix well.
Then add 1 tsp of vanilla and 7 drops of orange essence. Mix again.
Add 200g of milk or water and stir until dissolved.
Add 70g of oil and mix briefly.
Add the activated yeast and mix until combined.
Sift 4 cups of flour with 4g of dough improver and gradually add to the mixture until you get a sticky dough.
At this stage, follow the video closely.
Once the dough is sticky, sprinkle flour on your work surface.
Tip: A glass surface works best for kneading the dough.
Gradually add flour and knead until the dough becomes soft, smooth, and non-sticky.
Kneading takes about 15 minutes.
Once the dough is soft and smooth, place it in a bowl greased with oil and let it rest for 30–40 minutes.
Then punch down the dough and divide it into 50g portions.
Shape each portion into a ball and place on parchment or non-stick paper. Let rest again for 20 minutes.
Flatten each ball to about 0.5 cm thickness and use a cutter to make a hole in the center.
Set aside the center pieces. Repeat this for all dough balls.
Re-roll the leftover dough and cut again until all dough is used.
Fry in hot oil over low heat.
After frying, the parchment paper will easily separate. Then fry the other side of the donut.
Donuts should turn golden.
🍫 Decoration:
Let the donuts cool on a wire rack.
Decorate with anything you like.
I used powdered sugar, melted chocolate, white chocolate glaze, and sprinkles.

I used milk in this recipe, but if you're allergic, you can substitute it with water.
