Tuesday June 2nd Aim: Add Ons Strength (continued)
Equipment: Basic equipment (see Ep1), feet slider
ALL-ROUNDER SESSION
Add Ons Strength is back! If this is your first time, Add Ons Strength works by completing laps of activities that gradually getter longer and more difficult. The first lap will have just one activity, and each following lap one new activity will be added. Today we will try using 7 activities – which means we will be doing 7 laps. The difficulty of the exercises we add will gradually increase in difficulty. Doing the math… that’s 28 activities, which is slightly less than usual. So, it should be easier, right?
Here are today’s activities for Add Ons strength:
1. 2 log rolls in each direction, starting in dish
2. 10 Spiderman push ups
3. 15 sit ups with legs up
4. 4 tuck hops on each leg
5. 4 burpees with a jump half turn
6. 2 walk around circles in each direction
7. 3 attempts at worm to handstand
And you’re done! As always, finish your exercise with a stretching cool down. Follow along on this video, or make up your own program.
THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE:
Handstand Slinky! Starting in squat, can you bunny hop to a tuck handstand, then stretch to handstand, shrink back to tuck handstand, without falling over?
SUPER CHALLENGE: Worm to handstand! Starting in a seal shape, roll forwards and kick into a handstand.
