SoundTraxx Decoder Selector

Did you know that we have an easy tool on our website to help you choose a sound decoder for your model train? Our Decoder Selector tells you which SoundTraxx decoder will be the best option for your model. Our decoder selector is organized by scale and manufacturer to help you easily find your model and the decoder we recommend for it. We also recommend a speaker and baffle kit to use in your install. Our Decoder Selector can be found in the Reference section of soundtraxx.com.

Keep in mind that our Decoder Selector is, and will always be, a work in progress as new models come out all of the time. If you have a model that is not listed on our Decoder Selector please contact our Support Department for assistance choosing a decoder. This may take a little back-and-forth as we may need pictures of the inside of the model and some measurements, but we will help you identify the perfect decoder for your model. Once we do this we can also update our Decoder Selector for future customers.
