Xenoblade Chronicles X - Farming lvl. 60 Ground Gear Armor and Weapons Fast (Any Manufacturer)

Two of the best spots I’ve found just happen to be next to each other. The other Aevitar tyrant and some other groups of lvl. 64+ enemies will work fine for this. These 2 locations have the benefit of only having higher level enemies grouped close enough to kill with AoE attacks. Other farming locations such as joker tend to drop one or two Ultra prefix WEAPON. As you can see both of these locations can drop entire pages of lvl. 60 weapons AND armors.

The Sandsprint Cavity is located in the gap in the giant wall in Sylvalum. There is only one gap here, it is on the west side of the lake. Alternatively you may travel south from FN Site 407 which is on the other side of the wall to reach this.

As an added bonus you can farm Aevitar Star Wings while farming your weapons! This is actually part of the reason I use Sandsprint Cavity, but I also have gotten most of my equipment from there.

Much easier than Joker who tends to only drop one or two ultra pre-fix weapons at a time and no armors.. Almost everything in these 2 areas drops lvl. 60 gear consistently and even the non-tyrants can drop items with the highest possible stats.

Some quick notes about farming gear: You need all manufacturers up to rank 5 before you can actually find all the equipment. The type of weapons dropped are actually based off your squads current classes. I suggest using a squad with limited weapon types or using less squad members if you are looking for a specific weapon type, in this case you may need to use some Treasure Sensor gear on your character.

I did not do enough damage to kill these things with the lvl. 50 Pheonix Skell weapon. Both of these areas have large numbers of enemies grouped close enough to wipe out with a few shots from the Barrage Cloak. You may use a Pheonix weapon for farming but it has much lower damage, a slower startup, and lacks total evasion. Barrage Cloak actually attacks almost instantly and makes you invincible during the attack, this prevents enemies from interuptting your attack. This weapon takes 1500 fuel, do not try using it on a light skell.
