Many times we over complicate training! You can categorize exercises into vertical press/pull horizontal press/pull and assistance /accessory exercises. The classics work! But some simple changes can make dramatic differences in performance. The classic DB chest press and cable pull down are great examples of pushing and pulling exercises. The traditional bi-lateral versions are good but can lead to limitations in your ability to rotate. And if you are a rotational athlete like a golfer or baseball player this can present problems. In this video we take you through a few variations of these classic lifts.
