3DMakerPro has recently introduced the Gaussian Splatting function for the Eagle LiDAR scanner, and here is my initial review comparing it to the colorize function. I found that the output from Gaussian Splatting appears more image-like, while the colorized result looks more cartoonish. It's important to note that the colorize process does not utilize the SLAM algorithm and should not be used as a survey result. Only the output from the point cloud resolution process provides accurate dimensions.
