This laboratory experiment demonstrates the synthesis of KBArF4 through the use of a Grignard reaction. The experiment then describes the use of the KBArF4 to generate Cp2FeBArF4 (undergraduate students) and AgBarF4 (graduate students). This experiment is completed over four lab periods.
