Fred and Vivian have won in the special recognition category of the Pride of Britain Awards for their remarkable efforts to support bullied children.
After being deeply affected by the tragic story of 15-year-old Simone Grice, who took her own life due to bullying, they transformed their home into Northleigh House School in Warwick.
This initiative provides a safe haven for vulnerable youngsters, with 17 pupils currently enrolled, many of whom struggle with severe depression.
Vivienne, has reflected on the impact of bullying, expresses the heartbreaking reality faced by these children, emphasizing the urgent need for their work. Their dedication to helping others highlights the importance of compassion and community support.
