A traditional tune; probably a Victorian parlour lyric. It's the tune that introduced me to the Mixolydian Mode - and opened a musical rabbit -hole I'm still falling down. I've been playing the Appalachian dulcimer for a while and used to tell incredulous listeners that it was similar to the Indian sitar. So: here's the tune on an actual sitar I've reconfigured to be a dulcimer and played lap-style because my body won't let me play it in the 'normal' way. Jimmy's singing it a lot better than I can!
