Ensemble Petali Di Rosa is an octet formed by Italian Composer Ferruccio Fanti after a slow and long research through sound balance of his composition.He gathers around him a special musicians that follow his journey... Thus forming a "unique" Octet: two classical guitar two violins one Cello one double bass, sax-oboe-clarinet and bass clarinet.
This project born with the idea that become a mission as a response to this difficult times, to brings through music some love and peace in our hearts. ‘Cre-edo’ presents a mysterious energy capable of healing the wounds of the soul and heart. The passage presents symbolic biblical references. The time is in three quarters (3/4) to indicate the 3 public years of Jesus and the 4 evangelists who tell his story, as are the 4 chords that represent it and the 3 beats for each chord. It is built on 12 columns i.e. 12 phrasings reminiscent of the 12 tribes of Israel, and each phrasing is made up of 12 bars referring to the 12 apostles, in total 144 bars reminiscent of the 144,000 elect members of the tribe of Israel. The opening arpeggio is a ticking representing the time of the promise of God becoming man. The pizzicato of the double bass represents the inconstant beating of the human heart, the cello the spirit that hovers over the waters (the atmosphere), the violins represent with a delicate movement of the bow the heart of God, a caress over the human soul. The note letters of this palpitation C/G, Bb/G, A/F, G/D, in Italian form the phrase: ‘I give you the son, yes, the son, it came there to act, your son your king (Re)’. The melody, like the 4 gospel stories, is spread over 4 instruments: first guitar, clarinet, oboe, and finally (as brief as Mark's gospel) the cello.


“Cre-edo” presenta un’energia misteriosa capace di curare le ferite dell’anima e del cuore. Il brano presenta riferimenti biblici simbolici. Il tempo è in tre quarti (3/4) per indicare i 3 anni pubblici di Gesù e i 4 evangelisti che raccontano la sua storia, così come i 4 accordi che lo costituiscono e le 3 battute per ogni accordo. Costruito su 12 colonne cioè 12 fraseggi che ricordano le 12 tribù di Israele e ogni fraseggio è formato di 12 battute in riferimento ai 12 apostoli, in totale di 144 battute che ricordano le 144.000 eletti della tribù di Israele. L’arpeggio iniziale è un ticchettio che rappresenta il tempo della promessa di Dio che si fa uomo. Il pizzicato del contrabbasso rappresenta il battito incostante del cuore dell’uomo, il violoncello lo spirito che aleggia sulle acque (l’atmosfera), i violini rappresentano con un delicato movimento dell’archetto il cuore di Dio, una carezza sull’anima umano. Le lettere delle note di questo palpito C/G, Bb/G, A/F, G/D, in italiano formano la frase: “Vi dò il sole, sì, il sole, è venuto là ad agire, il vostro sole il vostro Re”. La melodia, come i 4 racconti evangelici, è distribuito su 4 strumenti: prima chitarra, clarinetto, oboe, e infine (breve come il vangelo di Marco) il violoncello.
