Assess Shoulder Stability At Its Root

When working with the upper body, don't neglect assessing basic shoulder stability in a rolling pattern. Have your client roll from supine to prone using a plank and arm shoot - and then from prone to supine with the same technique. This should be performed by rolling in each direction. Assess (and ask the client) whether there is a noted difference from one side to the other. It's important to correct any issues found from this - as this is the foundation of shoulder stability in our bodies.
