McKenzie Highway: Incredible Scenic Drive Along Oregon 242, McKenzie Pass

The McKenzie Highway, also known as Oregon 242, is part of the McKenzie Pass - Santiam Pass National Scenic Byway. The McKenzie Highway offers an incredibly scenic drive that is worth experiencing.

I discovered this lovely, scenic road accidentally. As I was exploring waterfalls and mountains in central Oregon I ended up without cell coverage for number of hours - and was unable to load my next destination in Google Maps. The Garmin GPS took me over the McKenzie Highway on the way back to Sisters and then Bend.

This video is a bit longer than normal, but I hope that you enjoy the scenic drive along the McKenzie Highway.
