His first task as Prime Minister - the selection of his cabinet was an object lesson in firm decision. Mr Butler as Foreign Secretary, Mr Maudling remains as Chancellor of the Exchequer. Lord Hailsham Minister of Science and Mr Selwyn Lloyd returns to lead the Commons.
