This Drone footage captured above the River Doe as it winds through frost-touched fields beneath the limestone slopes of Chapel-le-Dale. Filmed from the Low Sleights Road (B6255), between Chapel-le-Dale and White Scar Cave, the landscape opens into a quiet patchwork of stone walls, pasture and flowing water.
Early winter light lifts across the valley, revealing pale grass, winding field boundaries and scattered farm buildings resting low against the land. The river cuts a dark, sinuous line through the frozen ground, reflecting the slow movement of the morning sky.
A calm, atmospheric aerial sequence capturing the understated beauty of the Yorkshire Dales — timeless, grounded, and shaped by generations of farming and weather.
