As original as it could be but not without hiccups along the way. The LocalLink 26 is a case subject of correcting a problem from day one and improving it for the sake the OLD SYSTEM HAD IT FIGURE OUT, SO WHY DID BALTIMORELINK MESSED IT UP?!... History is on our side as the "original" Route 51, as many of us remember, was the primary crosstown feeder route for West Baltimore. Unlike many other feeder lines -- only rivaling the 22 and 30 -- this is about as busy as it gets and it leaves no room for ineptitude. From the moment operators leave their respective termini, you're gunning it with no remorse. The quicker you get there, the quicker the patrons get off the bus... then you add in the several schools who reside along the length of the route. It's balls to the wall. Lets add in the railroad crossings that CSX is notorious for... good luck!
