We pick up our new van - Southern Cross Caravans Sandfire 16 foot Gen 2! Quite a name - we think a nickname may be in order. Any suggestions?
The shakedown trip is at one of our favourite campsites only about 3 hours from home, Lake Nunijup. We have stayed here before in wildflower season.
The van performs well in the wet and cold weather, except for some condensation - the aluminium frame is quite evident!
And a visit to the nearby town of Kendenup - lovely little township.
