Who should choose which?
• Choose Thailand if you prioritise: reliable retirement visa options, top-tier healthcare nearby, big expat networks, and easier English access.

• Choose Vietnam if you prioritise: lower living costs, a more “authentic” local feel with growing expat hubs, attractive beach/coastal options, and you’re comfortable navigating less formal visa routes (or waiting for golden-visa rollout).
