President Cyril Ramaphosa says he has no sleepless nights over growing speculation that South Africa might be barred from next year's G20 Summit in Miami to be hosted by the United States.
The warning from Washington comes amid escalating tensions between Pretoria and Washington, D.C.
The row stems from controversial remarks by US President Donald Trump, accusing South Africa of committing genocide against white farmers, allegations which South Africa strongly rejects.
Ramaphosa emphasised that South Africa remains committed to constructive engagement with every nation represented at the G20 and beyond and that Pretoria continues to value and sustain international relationships despite diplomatic friction.
