8 Spider-Man Movies That ALMOST Happened! (A History of Cancelled Marvel Films)

With the release of #Spider-man Far From Home, we now have 8 Spider-man led theatrical films. But prior to the release of Sam Raimi's Spider-man (2002), for over 20 years countless studios, directors and producers had attempted to turn Spider-man into a movie.

Roger Corman, Tobe Hooper, Joe Zito, Albert Pyun, James Cameron and David Fincher all tried to get a movie made. For that matter Orion, Cannon and CarolCo all put forth effort to make a film.Then both Sam Raimi's franchise and the Amazing Spider-man series had planned sequels abandoned. Some loved the comic books and others knew nothing about them.

In this video I'll look at the 8 Spider-man movies that ALMOST happened. What would they have been about and why were they cancelled!
