We’ve touched on the mismatch between expectation and reality before. This Friday was a classic example of that dichotomy. Because of the rain, we decided to make it an urban walk to a coffee shop rather than a hike in the bush. Gary didn’t even bring a backpack! It will be obvious in the video that Greg’s version of an urban stroll differs from well… just about everyone’s. We did get to a coffee shop and we did cover some urban terrain. However, a glance at the map will show that the central coast is a group of suburbs separated by areas of bushland and lakes all nestled against the the Hawkesbury River and the vast Pacific Ocean and a walk in any direction will give you an experience to remember every time.
