Peak District - Kinder Scout Kinder Downfall Wild Camp

With my Kinder Scout addiction still going strong, I packed my bag and headed over to the Peaks where I met up with Kev Green & his Dog Jannu at Edale. From there, we walked to the bottom of Jacobs Ladder and started our ascent up Kinder.

Once at the top of Jacobs Ladder, we headed up Swine's Back and then past Edale Rocks and up to the Trig' point on Kinder Low. From Kinder Low, we then walked over to Kinder Downfall where we pitched up for the evening.

On the way up to Swine's Back, we bumped into another Wild Camper; Gav from    / @hikingforhealth1   and we stopped for a chat.

In the morning, we headed back down Jacobs Ladder and made our way into Edale, where we called in at the Old Nags Head Pub for a pint and a pub lunch. This was a great way to round off the trip. After the Pub, we made the short walk back to the cars at Edale car park.

Once again, this was a thoroughly enjoyable hike and camp. Kev was great company as always, and it was interesting when he was explaining his kit. Also, it's great when camping with Kev as he usually brings along his Dog Jannu, who is one of the friendliest Dogs which I've ever met.
