Been a while since I've posted a weather video, and I thought today was at least exciting enough. After a warm frontal passage and bands of heavy rain moved through last night, the system's resultant cold front as well as an upper-level low moved through earlier today, bringing more off-and-on convective heavy showers along with very gusty winds. The skies were pretty bipolar today with times of dark rain clouds and even some shelf cloud-like formations at some points, and areas of clearing in any breaks of precipitation. We also have had some pretty gusty winds beginning yesterday and into last night from gusty southerly winds in the warm sector, and then strong cold-air advection winds later on in the evening after the cold front passed through. It's getting to be the time of year again of gusty synoptic storm systems.
