Panna Cotta for Two | No Baking Required

Silky, creamy panna cotta made in a small batch just for two. An easy yet elegant dessert that feels special without any fuss or baking.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
3 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp plain gelatin
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of salt

Directions:
In a small saucepan add the milk and sprinkle the top with the gelatin. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Over medium heat on the stovetop, heat the milk, stirring until the gelatin dissolves. Don't let the milk boil.
To check if the gelatin is dissolved, rub some of the milk between your fingers or dip in a spoon and check the back of the spoon for grains of gelatin.
Add in heavy cream, sugar, pinch of salt and cook for 3-5 minutes, don't let it boil!
Remove from heat and add in vanilla extract. Pour mixture into dishes or ramekins.
Chill for 4 hours to overnight.
Top with fresh berries. (see list below for more ideas)
