Kapalabhati is a purification practice (Cleansing Kriya) of Hatha Yoga. It has multiple physical, mental and spiritual benefits because it is a powerful practice. And because it is so potent it can also be dangerous therefore caution must be exercised while practicing it.

In this video I explain the technique of Kapalbhati, the contraindications, benefits and tips for beginners which will help clear some common doubts about the practice.

I also do a short practice session in the end in which we do breath retention - please only do so if you've practiced breath retention before and our comfortable with it.
