A standard rendition of what many consider a "Russian" dance, this was done by Jews in the Galician region before World War 1 as a parody of aristocratic Quadrilles. It has far outlived the original dance it parodied. The wrap-up at the end is a move shared with some Hutsul dances, with little known about which group originated it.
