Gondor's Civil War - The Kin-Strife | Lord of the Rings Lore | Middle-Earth

The Kin-Strife was the first calamity of Gondor that led to its decline, for even though Sauron was defeated, not all was well in Gondor, and there was growing unrest, which would drive its people to break apart into two different factions. This would escalate into a terrible Civil War,and one of the most tragic events in the Lord of the Rings Saga. In today's episode we'll be unraveling this civil war, as we discuss the factions leaders called Valacar and Castamir, the battles they fought against one another, and the aftermath of this war.
