I came with an idea for this simple jack when I was searching for the load capacity of M10 nut and bolt. The M10 8.8 bolt should withstand approximatelly 3,3 tons of a static load. No surprise the jack lifts 2,5 ton lathe... well, with a little help of lever. It can't be any simpler. Jack from nut and bolt.
