A soft and delicate steamed chinese traditional osmanthus flowers rice cake.
Ingredients
200g rice flour
80g glutinous rice flour
40-50g icing sugar
145g water/ gui hua water
Slowing mix all ingredients together, using rubbing method until sandy-like. Then sieve the mixed flours. You can use individual cups or a pan. Both methods are shown in the video. Fill the cups with flour using a scrapper to flatten the surface., topped with osmanthus flowers. Steam for 10-12 mins. Served cool on its own or with osmanthus honey.
