Walking around Chinatown, London, UK.
Unlike the Chinatown in NYC which is sprawled in downtown (and somewhat dirty), here it's well perimetered and everything is packed nice and tidy within (effectively) two blocks. The street decoration with red lanterns is fancy and touristy. But because it's located in the heart of Piccadilly circus, arguably the most expensive commercial area in London, all the restaurants are more or less overpriced. It does have a few nice Japanese pastry shops, which I frequented while I was there for two weeks this summer.
ロンドンの中華街を散歩します。マンハッタンのチャイナタウンに比べて、とても狭いエリアにぎっしりとレストランが凝縮しています。ロンドンの中心的な繁華街ピカデリーサーカスのど真ん中に位置しており、物価はかなり高めです。抹茶アイス、たい焼き、等の日本のお菓子が食べられるお店も充実しています。赤提灯の装飾が独特の雰囲気を醸し出しており、趣深いです。
