They say that even Japanese people don't fully understand the differences between は (ha, pronounced wa) and が (ga). Most people would agree that it is one of the most difficult concepts to explain. There are even entire books dedicated to these two particles! But don't panic. I do my best to explain it here, but it will become easier over time. This is one of those things that require practice, so just be patient and don't give up! 頑張って！
