Kayleigh is Birmingham University's Surgical Society president this year and also a friend of mine, back from when we were on the Surg Soc together!
In today's video, we had a good conversation about being a medical student, medical school, mentorship and mentoring schemes, societies to join as a student and also some general advice and guidance about where to begin if you are a medical student interested in pursuing a surgical career, or just have a general interest in surgery.
