It's hard to believe we are already thinking about spraying greens for the 2023 season. In this video, I explain why we spray what turf managers call a weed on greens. That weed is called Annual Bluegrass, or Poa annua. We aren't spraying to eradicate this plant, we are spraying to keep it from reproducing. When properly managed, annual bluegrass can provide to be a great playing surface.
We have had an extremely mild winter this past year, so we can't let the season creep up on us! I hope you enjoy the video!
