#Driving from Newport to North Bend, Oregon on a sunny Wednesday afternoon August 16, 2023, as a variable-speed #Oregon coastal #drivelapse, with several stops along the way, including Heceta Head Lighthouse, the Sea Lion Caves, the #Darlingtonia Wayside, Umpqua River Lighthouse, and other stops. Also passing over a number of historic bridges. Instrumented and wth annotations/comments interspersed. Set to a curated music track.

Starts at the Historic Bayfront in #Newport, and ends at North Bend. Passes through Lincoln, Lane, Douglas, and Coos Counties in Oregon. Mostly on #US101.

There were a few technical difficulties here and there, sometimes resulting in missing or misbehaving maps and/or other instrumentation in a few spots. After the first upload of this video, I found a couple of glaring, dumb mistakes, which I just had to fix and then re-upload. So you may have seen, or gotten notification of, an earlier version of it. Sorry for any confusion that may cause.
