Driving thru mountains of N California, S Oregon for 315 miles of I-5 (Redding CA → Springfield OR)

#driving through the mountains and valleys of far northern California and southern Oregon on U.S. #Interstate5. A 315-mile #drivelapse with instrumentation, maps and signage that starts in Redding, California and heads north on I-5 through the Cascades/Klamath Mountains for 6 hours, ending up in Springfield, Oregon. Recorded on October 17, 2018.

Most of this route is known as the "Cascade Wonderland Highway" in California, or the "Pacific Highway" in Oregon. One portion is part of the "Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway".
