Strawberries and Cream | It's Good Enough To Eat

HI everybody

Today we’re going to be using gel polish to create a strawberry designs.

I’m going to start with two coats of Pashmina. I’m going to pop my colours on a palette, 2 reds and a pink. I’m going to start with the brighter red and create the basic shape of a strawberry. I’m then going to go over with the darker shade which is actually more transparent. I’m then going to mix the red and the pink to make a colour to add a criss cross pattern. I’m going to use a darker red again to dot between the criss cross shapes. I’m going to use white to make the pips on the strawberry and go over the lines with a mix of pink, red and white. I’m going to add a shadow with Burlesque super thin so you can see the design underneath and use White to add highlights and make it super realistic.

I’m using Snow White for the cream and pop it on the whole of the bottom of the nail under the strawberry and finish with Matte Top Coat. I’m using three colours for the leaves, and I’m going to start with the middle colour for the basic shape on the leaves and add highlights and shadows with the other two colours. I’m going to go over with Matte Top Coat and then add some white splashes and remove the sticky layer.
