Rescuing A BMW & Giving It Away FOR FREE! To You!

In Episode 6 of the Fix & Give series, I’m diving deeper into the heart of this BMW 325Ci giveaway build. This time, we’re tackling some of the most important reliability repairs on the M54 engine.
On the top end, I pulled the valve cover, resealed it with a fresh gasket, and dropped in brand-new spark plugs and ignition coils. Then I went underneath the car, dropped the subframe, and handled one of the toughest jobs on these BMWs: the oil pan gasket. While I was in there, I installed new engine mounts, replaced the dipstick tube O-ring, and resealed the oil level sensor.
This is one of the biggest jobs yet, but it’s all part of bulletproofing the M54 so this car will be reliable for years to come. When the build is finished, I’m giving this 2002 BMW 325Ci convertible away to one lucky subscriber — completely free, hand-delivered by me.
It doesn’t matter if you drive an E46, E39, E60, E83, or E85 — if you’ve got an M54, these repairs are almost exactly the same.
