Join me as we expose RAW woodworking, with behind the scenes uncut footage of Hobby Woodworking in its true form.
This series is about everything it takes to do woodworking as a hobby, DIY.
You know, I spend a lot of time building things and making things. Sometimes I have hours and hours and hours of video footage that I’ve recorded in order to make a project, and you see 10 or 12 minutes of that in a final product, which is great. However, it’s nice entertainment, but it doesn’t quite give you the whole story about the amount of time and the things that are really involved in doing woodworking as a hobby.
I spend a lot of time just thinking and trying things, and making stuff up, throwing that away, and doing it again. Sometimes I’ll come out and have an idea and I’ll just begin doing something. I may have to try a few different things to figure out what works. And in the end what I intended, while functional, may not be exactly what it was I was after in the first place. But it still works.
So what you see in the normal course of videos, and this goes for everybody, is that you see the final product and you see those steps that were successful in order to come to that product. So this series is going to be dedicated to all of that footage that is lost in the ether and never gets used.
Parts of it may be boring, parts of it may be repetitive, but I’ll put chapters in and you can skip ahead to see parts that you want. They will be long videos, long format, and there won’t be a lot of fancy editing in there. I’m just going to stuff the videos back to back to back and I’ll do a voice over.
We’ll talk about maybe what I was thinking what was successful, what wasn’t successful. And when I have failures, and I have failures, usually they are pretty funny, you’re going to get to see those too. A lot of bloopers get cut out and don’t ever make it into the final project videos.
So, welcome to LumberZack RAW. Like and Subscribe to the channel, it helps out a lot. It helps me know that you like the videos and I’ll continue to put forth the effort to make the videos.
Put any comments that you have down below, about why I did something or hey watch out you’re going to cut off your finger! I don’t know everything about the stuff that I’m doing.
I try to do my best and sometimes I might miss a little step. Feel free to let me know about it down in the comments below.
