soooo…hi!
here i am late as always with my DSS secret santa for the lovely cate aka ‪@celebrimby‬ . it was such a joy to vid for you, cate, and your taste is phenomenal, your wishlist was a treat - i made a wholeass moodboard about who to vid but alas, this idea of yours just wouldn’t let me go. i hope you like this little blob of a take on these iconic characters, and merry christmas :3


› what is this?
fate. duty. memories. love lost but not forgotten. a price paid for a world one might never see.
lagertha & elendil are called to fight for middle earth. their daughter rhaenyra comes with them, and they reunite with lagertha’s old friend elrond.
in the end, elendil pays the ultimate price for victory. lagertha, broken, has a choice to make. and rhaenyra remains - in a world made better by her parents' sacrifices, but alone.

(what's going on with lagertha and elrond...how do they know each other? is she half-elven like him? does he love her? that is for you to decide.
((also, since we have no isildur -and it’s more convenient footage-, elendil is the one who defeats sauron. or something.))
(((rhae is just…kinda there i guess, since a lack of time made me cut a lot of story and some more characters from my original idea, but i was so fond of the idea of her as their daughter that i really really wanted her in here. so. voilà.)))
