so this is my audition for SergeantScarlett's Another World Contest :D I'm really curious if I will pass or not, but either way, it made me vidding so I'm thankful already :D
Man idek what this is. "Behind the scenes", they are all connected in a bigger story but I knew I didn't have the right footage to portray it all so this started out as a bunch of manips -- and then some of the scenes kind of connected and rly, idk. (they are all characters from the novel I plan but it's so much bigger than this and it would just be confusing to tell it all)
So just go with it, I guess? here is some little help, though, for those who want it (really, really short):
let's pretend there are two realms -- the North and the, uhm, South e.g. The North is a kingdom itself but the king still has to swear fealty to the South, it's more like a colony than an autonomic state. Aragorn is King in the North, Tywin in the South. There's always a lot of trouble between them because the Northerners want their independence and the Southern King wants to basically take their crown away and fully make them a part of the realm.
Aragorn has a wife and two sons -- Annis (the queen from Merlin), Robb and Cesare. Robb is his heir because Cesare is a priest and sorcerer and therefore can't become king. Robb is engaged to Mary (Scarlett Johansson). But some years in the past, he met a woman on one of his travels -- Marion (Cate Blanchett in Robin Hood). With her, he has two children, Jack and Sansa. He wants to convince them to come to court because he thinks it might not be safe for them in the wild where they live (due to the troubles), but while Jack is tempted, Sansa doesn't want to leave her mother and so they stay there. The quote in the beginning is Jack telling his friend Aliena a tale about his parents.
Tywin has no legitimate children. Morgana is his mistress (who's basically hated by his whole family). Cersei was his mistress in the past and he still holds her in high regard because she's a capable ruler so she's officially part of the family and holds quite some power (kind of as his Hand). She gave him three children, bastards of course, but still acknowledged and beloved and with quite some power, too: Arthur, Eric (the Huntsman) and Maud (Alison pill, the blonde woman from Pillars of the Earth). Lady Regan (the woman from PotE with the marks on her face) is his sister and has a son herself, Henry (Hiddles), who is Tywin's heir.
So Aragorn goes to the Southern court in order clear some things up and Cersei grips the opportunity to let him be arrested and executed. As a response, the Northern Lords crown Robb and he calls the banners. Arthur and Maud are in charge of the Southern Army. Cesare comes home and also promises to help. Mary's brother Gwaine is arrested on the suspicion of treason by the Northern Lord Uther and Mary pleads for his life, but even Robb as the King cannot do anything because it seems that the suspicions were true. Their relationship is kinda ruined after that lol.
Eric is caught in the King's castle and brought before Queen Annis who arrests him. Lady Regan tells her brother but Tywin is neither really surprised nor upset, more disappointed, because out of his three children, Eric is the least capable in his opinion.
Cersei doesn't like that Tywin has both sent Arthur to war and given Maud a warrior's life and that he doesn't seem to care for Eric's fate at all. Also, she sees her children's position and safety endangered by Morgana's presence and the prospect of a possible marriage and legitimate children. Later on, she poisons both Morgana and Tywin in order to put Henry on the throne who, as she believes, will be easier to be influenced by both her and Regan (with whom she kind of has an alliance). Neither Maud nor Arthur are really happy about it though because, unlike Cersei predicted, they lose quite a bit of influence.
Eric is still Robb's prisoner, but he is not too restricted and he and Robb actually form kind of a relationship. Cersei still worries about her son, though.
Jack is hanged, Mary is upset. So are Marion and Sansa, of course.
And Aragorn's, Morgana's and Tywin's choices sealed their fate~ lol
Okay so that was it. AND I'M SO ANGRY WITH FINAL CUT FOR FUCKING UP SOME OF THE TIMING AND THE GREEN GLITCHES EVERYWHERE AND NOT LETTING ME PUT PROPER TEXT IN THERE WITHOUT BITCHING AROUND AND CRASHING ALL THE TIME AND ARGH D: but it's finished.
