The sinking of the 184-foot Perini Navi Bayesian has taken the world by storm and that makes sense, the story seems to have it all: Tragedy, a superyacht, a billionaire, a freak weather event, conspiracy theories, intrigue. What stood out to us as we read the reporting on this yacht sinking was just how many apparent falsehoods were being reported and how misunderstood the yacht industry is.
