"Ember City" Mastodon Drum Cover - Mike Sciulara (Scuzz)

For my first tasty offering, I chose @mastodonrocks #embercity off the #oncemoreroundthesun record. In my opinion #branndailor has a style and approach to drums that puts him on a level all by himself. A style I think most drummers appreciate and revere in their own ways. Plethoras of tasty rolls of many different varieties that fill you up and leave you sufficiently nourished after every tune. The amount of flavor the man adds to dense and complex riffs are something that sets him apart from most, and it’s so fun to work and play his and their music. Further, this song also contains probably my favorite minute and a half of the last 5 years with that solo section 🙌🏻🙌🏻.
