Szarzyński Stanisław Sylwester, date and place of birth and death unknown, probably in the second half of the seventeenth century, at the latest at the turn of the seventeenth/eighteenth centuries, Polish composer of the Cistercian order, or the Benedictines. No information is available concerning his biography. The basis for determining the time of the composer's activities are copies of works written in the years 1692-1713 and the stylistic appearance of his work. Szarzyński probably was associated with Łowicz, most of his composition manuscripts are from there, written by the longtime organist of the Łowicz collegiate church, J.M. Rybicki.
