지리산 화엄사 풍경 소리를 녹음했습니다.
화엄사는 전라남도 구례군 마산면 지리산 남쪽 기슭에 있는 삼국시대 지어진 사찰입니다.
또한 오래된 사찰답게 국보로 지정된 각황전과 사사자 삼층석탑 그리고 보물로 지정된 동오층석탑과 서오층석탑 등
아름다운 문화재가 산재해 있는 곳이기도 합니다.
지리산에 하얗게 바람꽃이 일고, 산줄기를 타고 내려온 찬바람이, 마침내 산사에 하얀 눈송이를 뿌렸습니다.
쌓이지 못하고 흩어지는 가랑눈 속에 멀리서 풍경 소리가 들려오기 시작합니다.
'풍경'은 사찰 처마에 매달아 놓은 범종 형태의 종을 말합니다.
종 안에는 범종의 벽을 쳐 소리 내는 물고기 모양의 바람판이 있습니다.
물고기는 항상 눈을 뜨고 살아가는 생물로서, 절에서 수행하는 수행자들도 물고기처럼 눈을 똑바로 뜨고
게으름 없이 정진하며 살아가라는 뜻을 담고 있다고 합니다.
바람에 부대끼며 그 호흡을 고스란히 전해주는 풍경소리는 산사에서 들을 수 있는
가장 아름다운 소리 중의 하나입니다.

Hwaeomsa Temple is a temple built during the Three Kingdoms period, located at the southern foot of Jirisan Mountain in Masan-myeon, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do.
In addition, as it is an old temple, the Gakhwangjeon Hall and Four Lions Three-story Stone Pagoda are designated as national treasures, and the East Five-story Stone Pagoda and West Five-story Stone Pagoda are designated as treasures.
It is also a place rich in beautiful cultural assets.
The cold wind that came down from the Jiri Mountain range finally scattered white snowflakes on the mountain temple.
The sound of Wind Chime begins to be heard from afar in the light snow that cannot accumulate and scatters.
'Wind Chime' refers to a bell-shaped bell hung from the eaves of a temple roof.
Inside the bell, there is a fish-shaped decoration that makes a sound by hitting the wall of the temple bell.
Fish are creatures that always live with their eyes open, and ascetics at temples also keep their eyes straight like fish.
It is said that it contains the meaning of living diligently and without laziness.
The sound of the wind blowing against the wind and conveying its breath can be heard in the mountain temple.
It's one of the most beautiful sounds.

처음에는 양철지붕에 빗소리인 줄 몰랐지만,
어느새 소리에 빠져들고 있는 나를 발견했습니다.
보이는 것에 극도로 맞춰진 현대사회에 우리는 점점 청력을 잃어가고 있었습니다.

당연하듯이 받아들여지는 각종 소음과 소리…….
우리 감각은 균형을 잃고 청력은 점점 퇴화하고 있습니다.
한국의 숨겨져 있는 보석 같은 풍경과 그 속에 담긴 잃어버린 소리를 찾아
여러분과 같이 나누려고 합니다.
낯선 풍경에서 새로운 친구를 만나 같이 웃고 우는 시간이 되길 바랍니다.
