While hanging out at Sticks' house, Tangle and Whisper discover that Angel Island has fallen again. They set out to investigate—but soon enough, they find themselves entangled in a strange conspiracy…

Angel Island Tour is another short levelpack from Roger van del Weide, his third one after Sol Sestancia and SA Genisys. As always, it's filled with tons of references to every aspect of the Sonic franchise, be it Archie or Boom—and also an utterly hilarious story involving G.U.N. tyranically forcing everyone to try out their new Pepsi substitute.

I wanted to show off everyone's favorite IDW pair this time around, since they were very much background elements in my previous video. I love using Whisper's Variable Wispon—it's a creative-as-heck gimmick and a fun reinterpretation of how Forces used it. There may be five modes, but they're distinct enough that you shouldn't have too many issues choosing one move over the other.

I haven't actually played Tangle much in comparison. She uses her tail to grapple onto walls and floors, and even swipe it at enemies and spikes. It's an interesting mechanic to be sure, but I'm not sure if I'd ever get used to the different nuances of how it works (you need to use Jump and Spin). Still, you can't have Whisper without her—and vice versa—so I don't mind having her around.

Unlike Roger's previous level packs, you can actually find all seven Chaos Emeralds throughout the maps. They're pretty devious to find (I only managed five my first playthrough), so make sure to explore the last two levels really well!
