In this second video, the joists have separated from a beam due to pre-1900 practice in which lumber is cut directly from trees and put into framing - the lack of kiln-firing causes joists to shrink by up to 8" and separate.
Here, I build a new foundation and secondary support, and bring the floor back to level for first time in over 100 yrs.
